    Im trying to capture from my mini dv tape right from the 00.00.00.00 mark and the captured footage will not begin from there, it will start of about 2secs after. Is there a way to capture right from the start of the tape?
    Im using Premiere CS5

    put the cam in play mode. hit start twice, it should be in pause mode with the head spinning. start your capture when the cam is fully paused.

    you should always put at least a 10 second blank lead-in on a tape and then stop recording. start the real taping from there. the very beginning of a tape is not always recordable.

    i didnt mention that it wont record from 0 when i set in and out marks
