  1. Have made a DVD with a Video track which is required to play on any DVD, however at the same time want to include a photo folder on the disk so that recipiants of the disk are able to copy and have printed any photo in that folder. Can anyone suggest how this can be done on Sony DVD Architect and if not suggest a program which can do this. Note I do not want a slideshow option for the photos in the folder.

Once you get your VIDEO_TS folder, create another folder named DATA(containing the pictures) and burn those with ImgBurn. Just put the VIDEO_TS folder FIRST in the list.....ImgBurn will know what to do(burn it as DVD Video).

  3. Just create a separate folder called 'EXTRAS' or something and stick the photos in that. They'll only be available from the computer, though, which is OK with you, I think. Depending on how you burn the DVD, that folder will get burned along with the VIDEO_TS folder inside of which is the main video.

I usually create an ISO first, although that's not strictly necessary, I don't think. You'll have the main 'MOVIE' folder, or whatever you call it. Inside is the VIDEO_TS, the AUDIO_TS, and the EXTRAS folders. Burn to disc using ImgBurn.

Edit: hech54 beat me to it.

  5. Works Great. Authored a Menu of the videos on the disk and mentioned on the menu screen about the photos on the disk under a Photos folder, created video files in Sony DVD Architect without burning and followed the good instructions above about creating an image file and then Used Nero to burn the image to DVD. Thanks for the help. Now Im a happy man.
