Hello all,
I can't find anything special to this seemingly everyday problem in VH, so just in case, apologies, but here goes
So I want to splice some additional audio tracks in AAC into my MKVs, but I can't seem to be able to sync them to the video. Since AAC doesn't give me a frame rate adjust or even a time count, I don't know how to tell it to go a certain frame rate (which is, that of the video). What always happens is: at the beginning of the mkv, I get some 700 to 1400 ms late, at the end about 1000 ms on top of that, so it's not linear.
Tool used is MKV Toolnix 5.5.0
Please, could someone point me into the right direction here?
THX,
Wind

	Hi all,

 SOLVED.

An other muxer in here had the right idea: First get the start of video and audio in sync (in this case -600ms),
then stretch out audio to fit the end of video (+2000ms). All done in MKVMerge.

Didn't think it was that easy. Sorry for asking, but I had no experience with AACs before.

 Wind
