Hi there,
Is it even possible to use this script (after modification) to get the size/quality ration like the ripped dvd movies? For example I have a dvdrip of Mission Impossible 3, length - 2:12:56 resolution - 1280x536, size - 771 MB. So in average it's about 5.8 MB/min. I've tried to convert my HD video from LUMIX camera into something similar but couldn't find the right combination of parameters.
So the question is - is it possible in principle? If it's only to change a few parameters in ffmpeg command line could someone explain it to me? I'd be much appreciate it
Thanks

5.8 MB/min ~ 773kBit/s seems too low for any decent quality at a resolution of 1280x536
-> you might want to check you facts, this just seems wrong on too many levels to take it seriously -
The video from your Lumix camera is probably too noisy and shaky (and probably too high a frame rate too) to compress as well as a DVD rip. What's the problem you're having? Bad picture quality? Or failure to work at all?
