Are there any good programs that will let me copy my games to my computer?
I tried Alcohol 120%, but it could not work with my Scrabble game.
The disc was mounted on a virtual drive and started to play and then said "wrong disc inserted."
I don't mind paying for a program as long as it can copy correctly.
Thanks
Paul

Game discs are essentially "data" discs, making it much easier for companies to add "very difficult to overcome" copy protection to them. There are even special tools that you may need to run in order to identify the type of protection used on the disc, then go and find the proper tool/procedure to copy it.
Most of the time it's not worth the hassle. -
Check out www.gamecopyworld.com for a solution to game discs ... game index from mirror 3, click S and look for version.

Ditto. Gamecopyworld will be able to give you what you need if an answer is to be found. Most often its as easy as installing the game and replace the game launcher with a fixed launcher that does not do the validation checks so you don't have to have the disk in the drive to play the game. But as far as making a playable backup I wouldn't even try most times its not worth the effort.

Thanks to all who replied.
I thought it would be a simple process.
Now I know it is not worth the hassle. -
Depends ... games after 2007 are difficult but not impossible but having the correct dvd burner is what makes the process easier.
Clonecd image, patched using bwa, burn at 2x ... once securom and safedisc hit v4.6 it was made more difficult which is where them nocd exe's come into play.
