i've ripped about 6 or 7 movies so far. i'm running a amd k6-2 450... i recently ripped saving private ryan...final size was 1.4gb resolution 640x352 and bitrate was 520kbps but when it was done it said average was 900kbps. i use dod speed ripper, flask 0.594, virtual dub and the divx 4 codec is installed. the quality is not what it should be at that size...and when i was encoding it there was only low motion and the divx 4 beta codec. no fast motion...any advice? or is there a better prog out there?
