    Hello

    I have bluray and dvd's of the same movie, but they bluray menu is so most cooler, so im thinking is there a way i can take the bluray menuen and convert to dvd files and then add my movie to that ?

    I cant find anything about converting bluray menus to dvd menus

  2. Not likely because Blu-ray menus use BD-Java.

    You could at the minimum do a screen capture of the bluray and then incorporate that into your dvd menu. You could fiddle with it or make a still of it too to work around it for things like special feature menus and the like.

    But moviegeek is pointing out the structures are quite different.

    Your best bet might be either a minute or two of screen caps to do a basic motion menu or a still of it just to have something to work with that incorporates the bluray menu. Don't forget about the resolution loss when making it to dvd. It won't look nearly as sharp (not techincally "less sharp" I just mean it won't have the same pizzazz as the high def version since its dropping to standard def res).
    Donatello - The Shredder? Michelangelo - Maybe all that hardware is for making coleslaw?

    Yep...
    Never going to happen!!!

    Two totally different formats!!!

    Best you could do is a screen cap of the menu's, or some kind of a capture if the menu background video then reauthor them in a DVD authoring program.

    But you will never get the same menu actions/animations in a DVD menu as a Bluray menu.

    I want my VHS tapes to have an animated menu like my Bluray disc's have!!!
    But in better resolution than VCD's!!!

    Short answer no, long answer you could capture the motion sequence associated with each button click and build a a custom menu. Trust me its more trouble than its worth.

    I think, at the most you can use motion backgrounds from those menu's:

    m2ts files -> DGAVCIndex - > AviSynth -> (your mpeg2 encoder or a DVD authoring application like TAW4-5)
