I'm looking to trim part of a movie, and I want to be able to make sure they subtitles sync up properly afterward. How can I either edit a .sup file ripped from bluray, or change the timing of it in an MKV?

The following work flow would certainly do the trick:
1) Convert SUP to SRT.
2) Edit SRT in any text editor to remove the parts you don't need. You really should be able to figure out how to do this as soon as you open the file. SRT format is really understand to understand.
3) Make your new MKV with the SRT file. -
Is this possible to do without converting the PGS subtitles to SRT or anything else using OCR? I do not want to go through the process of teaching a program to recognize characters, then have to deal with the misreading of lowercase L and I. I just want to cut 1001 milliseconds from the start of a stream and re-save it again.
