  1. Hi. I put HDTV.x264.mp4 (with resolution 720x404) files on my pendrive and stick it to my standalone HD Media Player. But there's very annoying problem. Playback all of them causes out of sync. What should I do in this situation? Is there any tool I can use to modify something in these HDTV.x264.mp4 files to watch them without OOS? Thanks in advance for any help.

ps I extracted AAC track from source mp4 file, converted it to mp3 and muxed to one file with h264 video and two audio tracks (AAC and mp3) and there's still OOS on both tracks

ps2 On pc these files work fine.

Standalone hd media player??? PLEASE give more info.

You could always try reconvert to avi xvid with handbrake 0.9.3, format factory, winff, etc.

  3. It's not popular HD media player. It's rather local product in Eastern Europe. All 720p, 1080p files work fine but these hdtv.x264.mp4 (720x404) has OOS.

If it supports mkv you could try remux to a mkv with mkvtoolnix / mkvmergegui, add your mp4, output as a mkv. No video reconversion.

Or rip and convert to mp4/mkv from your original dvds/blu-rays....

I used your method (mkvtoolnix / mkvmergegui) few time last few days and output mkv file works fine only on PC. On HD Media Player I had this message "unsupported file format)". That's interesting because 720p mkvs work fine.

And now is interesting thing. I used all this time the newest version of Mkvtoolnix / Mkvmergegui (5.5). It was source of problem. MKVs created from MP4s from 3.x.x version Mkvtoolnix / Mkvmergegui work fine

It's your right to be secretive, but it's also our right to refuse to help you. We do have members in Eastern Europe by the way. Had you cared enough to tell us what the brand and model were, perhaps other members who live there and are familiar with it would be able to provide advice. There may be bugs in the player that are known. But since you're not interested in telling us, I'm not interested in helping you.
