  1. The content of the original DVD shows what appear to be subs added direcrly from the disk and there is no setup involved. The run defaults to English subs.

I am using an older version of DVDFab and have had a lot of problems adding subs which should be simple to do int his program.

    Process:

    I select Generic
Main file is highlighted and 2 subpictures Eng and French are offered.
I untick the French and the Eng sub has a check.

But playback contains no subtitle. Where is my error?

Please say where the sub information appears on the process screen (where sound, track number and other things show up.) If a subtitle is selected should it appear in that window before Start is selected? Should an option other than Generic be used?

I noticed that selecting program only would not work since the time estimate was way too short. These are all confusing things for a program that performs well as long as no customization is needed.

I wish I understood a single word of that.

  3. I think I should have said 'please say *if* the subtitle infdormation shows on the process screen. The process screen is what appears with the info on single pass, track number, sound quality AC3 etc.

I have seen DVDFab's manual as well but they seem to be showing some redesign in a different edition where there's a dialog box that says 'force sub title' (check or uncheck).

What would be helpful is if a reader here who actually uses DVDFab and is getting subs to display would give a reply. That appears to be the only solution.
