I recorded couple of TV shows using WMC, file extension is TVW. Is there anyway to convert them to either mpg or iso format.

Please note that although it does not have to use it, that WTV does support copy protection and you will NOT be able to convert protected files. In general you should expect sources like HBO, Showtime, etc. to be copy protected. Shows on Fox, NBC, ABC and CBS (assuming you are in the USA) should not be protected. Everything is usually not protected but may be. Some of this depends on your TV provider as some have been known to protect the wrong channels by mistake or unprotect channels that they are actually supposed to protect.
