hello, I am Sorenson Squeeze user. please, anyone tell me, how should I modify these options in x264 codec to result best, highest output video quality? (I don't mind and don't care about encoding speed or CPU performance. just need best quality)

P.S. please don't care about understanding explanations, just tell me what should be the best options to apply thanks...

You can olso see the images from the software.

    Couple of things:

Unless I'm quite mistaken, the h.264 encoder in Squeeze does NOT make use of x264 (the codec implementation). Likely, you have a Mainconcept or similar implementation, or Sorenson's own.

But if I AM mistaken and you somehow can get x264 to work from within SS, you would probably need to understand a little more about how codecs work.
Because one of the first things about tweaking codec settings is: Much of the choices depend upon the actual program content which is unique, varying from one to the next. Fast action/Quick cuts is different from Talking heads, Animation is different from Natural content, etc. And so are the most optimal settings.
Plus, a lot depends on: WHAT YOU WANT TO DO WITH THIS FOOTAGE. Stream online, distribute to friends, Play in PC, settop, phone, media player, gaming device. Which models, etc. They all vary and have varying needs. Those needs dictate how you make the choices in the settings...

If you don't want to learn why it works the way it does (so you could adjust HOW it works), your best bet is the safest: stick to default profile templates. But that WON'T get you the very Best quality (good, but not the best).

    Scott
