  1. I am strongly considering buying this video card for my new media PC. Problem is (or isn't), that I will be using my TV via HDMI port.

Should I be able to receive proper output while doing things such as accessing the BIOS or installing Windows from DVD?

Does the TV also have a VGA port? That would be more reliable during installation. Or use a computer monitor.

Maybe someone has that card and can explain the boot display over HDMI.

  3. You know now that I thought about it both of the modes I mentioned probably don't have HDMI compatible resolutions. Yeah, it has a D-Sub connection that would work out just a PIA to get to where I have the TV
