I've been provided a .wmv video that has the video and audio out of synch.
When the video plays ourt-of-synch in Windows Media Player on my desktop (WindowsXP), AND when it's played in Windows MovieMaker, the sound of the person speaking on the video starts a bit before her mouth begins to move, and I need to adjust that.
How can I adjust that in Windows MovieMaker?
    Thanks.

Moving you to our video editing section. You are not capturing anything.

Maybe will you learn something from http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MD_dLxXSaB0

Or are you using windows live moviemaker?

  3. If it's a constant sync issue (e.g. like + or - 500ms the entire way through) , then you can shift the audio with asfbin

If it's a progressive sync issue (gets gradually worse as you play), then likely audio & video have different lengths and it's much more difficult to fix

    Thanks for the replies.
It's a constant synch issue, not one that progessively gets worse.
I could try asfbin, as suggested, but I'm trying to find out if this can be adjusted using Windows moviemaker (not live moviemaker). The suggested youtube link, talks about adding audio to video essentially.

So any moviemaker help would be appreciated.
