    Great, thanks!

    Just trying the PM'd version.

It's amazing - I ask for something to say the analysing is done and "poof!" - it is there!! Really cool!

Only problem is the line that says it is done comes before the audio is done!
Here is the Main window log:

    Code:

     => progressive
Regarding the folders being thrown at Hybrid - it seems to work and then just stops and all the tabs are greyed out. I attach the debug.

The title bar stops at "Interlaced analysis (2 of 2) at 0%". I gave it a while and nothing else seems to happen. The Main log stops at the new "Input is completely analyzed,..." line. I can't copy it to paste here as the log window is also greyed out and won't give me access.

start a taskmgr (CTRL+SHIFT+ESC) to check if an instance of mplayer is running, might be that the interlaced analysis is still running,..

Can't get the log to upload - last time this happened I had to reboot. will be back later...

Btw: There was no mplayer running in task manager, but after about 5 minutes 2 more lines appeared in the main log to say mplayer finished (2) after 4minutes then another line"=>interlaced (3)" and that is where it stopped again - still there. Will give it 10 minutes and will reboot to fix the upload nonsense.

My machine needs a reboot anyway - it's been a few days!

  5. than the analysis of the data of the interlaced analysis was running,... but after outputting "=>interlaced (3)" it should be finished,... (did you enable 'Config->Automation->Autorun interlaced check' or did you start the analysis by hand?

  6. seems like the progress during interlaced analysis is broken :/

Yes, it was enabled under automation.

Do you want me to re-create the debug? It sounds like you are onto the problem.

The title bar did seem like it was trying to do 2 things at once! It appeared to be flashing between Interlace analysis and something else very fast during the initial stages of reading the files. (if that helps!)

  9. Yes, it was enabled under automation.
Than everything is like it is ment to be, except the fact, that the interlaced analysis takes a lot of time and mplayer can't output a decent position info when analyzing an mkv file -> it's not a bug, the progress is just fixed at 0%.
-> I'll change it that there's at a moving line or something,...

the "Input is completely analyzed,..." is output since the normal analysis is finished,..Interlaced analysis is a separate thing.

=> enabling 'Autorun interlaced check' is just an option that is not recommend for normal sized files,..

    to analyse 5% (<> 70.8715s) of a H.264 720p clip takes my machine around 9 minutes (00:04:01.802hrs + 00:04:31.289hrs),....

-> LOL, I just realized if I add some threading to it 1st pass only takes 1:35min instead of 4:01 and 2nd pass is finished after 00:02:03.153hrs instead of 00:04:31.289hrs.

The main problem with the missing timing info is not the progress indication, but this way the whole file and not just i.e. the first 141 seconds get analyzed,.. :/ -> which explains why the process takes so long,.. (same line with mplayer2 is a lot faster,.. )

I tried mine a few times and it does not like a folder being tossed on it. Do you want a debug log?

Do I need to install the public version or am I up to date?

  13. better update and make sure you replace the 64bit ffmpeg with a 32bit version (I added a to-do to change the installer to select the 32bit ffmpeg Version even on 64bit systems, but I didn't have the time to make the required changes,...)

    Cu Selur

    Ps.: rev. 2012.05.08 is uploaded

Nice to see all the stuff we have been troubleshooting in the changelog (the first time I have had a small impact on such a great tool and almost in real time! - I am impressed)

Will get the new version and play!!

  15. btw. there might be another user that also has a problem with ffmpeg see: http://forum.selur.de/topic132-audio-dts-to-ac3-problem.html
(not sure but the judging from the debug output the problem it might be ffmpeg related,..)

    => nope was another problem

I tried the new version and the folder processing still doesn't work.

It processes everything in the folder, analyses the interlacing, ends up saying "=>progressive" and stops without handing the control back. The Main log window and the tabs across the top all remain greyed out. the title bar returns to "Hybrid 2012.05.08.1"

The only way to continue is to close the program. I have given it over an hour to respond with no change.

    What now?

  17. I'll try to reproduce it, but for me after the "=>progressive" the GUI is enabled again,..

    Thanks.

It is only when I throw a folder at it, so I will just resist the temptation to process whole folders at a time for now!

Hope you can find the problem.

  21. Eureka! I managed to reproduce your problem, and I think it happens when you drop a folder (or multiple file) and some of these files are not supported by Hybrid (contains no a/v data), seems like some of these autoroutines run havoc if this happens,...
-> I'll try if it helps to add an option the other way around,.. meaning: an 'only support' option which will cause Hybrid to ignore all inputs except the once specified,...

Hooray!! I hope you got it now!

Yes, I added some files that would be common in my media player folders, but I did make sure to add all the extensions to the ignores list box.

I was beginning to think you thought I was crazy.

I was just trying the version you PM'd me. It also froze.

I will attach the log in case it helps. There is something not right with this forum's upload feature. I can't get it to work so I will pop it in my Dropbox here: http://dl.dropbox.com/u/3334489/Hybrid/HybridDebugOutput.txt

    Hope it helps. Good luck.....
