    :x If anyone can help me, my TMPG, the newest version will convert the audio portion of my avi files but not the picture. I've been trying to convert to low res dvd mpeg-1, however, every avi i enter and set everything the encoding starts up but no picture is ever produced. It doesn't say anything and i can never get a preview to appear. I'm freaking out because this is driving me nuts. someone help please!!!!

    Same thing happened to me. You have the wrong codecs. Redownload and install Divx 3.11 and Divx 4. That should correct it.
