Yeah, it's surprising for Canon. They went down in droves over their faulty drive mechanisms and sensors. Hopefully I can get one that works while I transfer, then it's off to the tech desert for it. I'm starting to think about where to store the raw files. I want to edit them all, so my external hard drive seems like the best place. Thankfully, it's FW and USB3. Trying to do anything via USB2 is extremely painful.
