Not really sure how this could have happened. Lossless is lossless. Plus eac3to supposedly has some built-in clipping prevention measures. Despite this, the center channel has been badly clipped. I mean it is harsh. Without question, the audio did not start out that way.
I may have to try the DTS core or the AC3 channel. But certainly I'd like some advice. Either for somebody to tell me I'm doing it wrong, or maybe an extra command that will ensure the result isn't clipped. Here's my very basic command line:
eac3to input_dts-hd_ma.dts output_wav.w64
I used Audacity 2.0 to investigate the audio.

Probably you will have to try different versions of ArcSoft's "DTSdecoderDll.dll", none of which is flawless BTW
