    Hello

    Im trying to merge alot of 2 disk avi's... But none of the programs i found seam to work proberly... The audio is VBR so no vdub...

    Ive tryed avidemux but it make cd 2's audio out of sync... Anyone know a good fast way with reencode to do this?

    You would have the best chance of success to convert the VBR audio to CBR audio. VirtualDub can be used for demxuing and remuxing and it can also join AVIs together. Do a search on the internet for guides on how to use it for whatever tasks you wish. You could just trying joining the files together with VBR audio and hope for the best and then just convert the audio if the join doesn't stay in sync.

    Have you tried using MEncoder like this:-

    mencoder file1.avi file2.avi -ovc copy -oac copy -o out.avi

  4. Avi-Mux gui should also be able join multiple .avi files with vbr audio without a problem.

    Never had issues joining Xvid videos with vbr audio in VDub. Just select "no" when asked to have header rewritten.
