Hi all,
I just wrote a guide and published a Python script to run Gunnar Thalin's Deshaker script on a folder full of iPhone 4S videos. This was to fill my own need since I taken a bunch of videos on a recent vacation, and the iPhone's built-in video stabilization didn't work as well as I had hoped. The script could be adapted to work with other videos, of course, but there were some iPhone-specific details I wanted to cover.
You can read the guide here: http://preshing.com/20120415/how-to-remove-camera-shake-from-iphone-4s-videos
I was partially inspired by the mass deshaker script from these forums, as well as this batch deshaker.
I wrote the tutorial in painstaking, some might say excruciating, detail -- in the hope of retaining the information better myself -- though I hope that if someone just wants to grab the script and run it, they will be able to do so.
You guys are the experts, so any feedback or related tips you might have would be very interesting to me!
Thanks,
Jeff

My guess is the average iPhone video shooter is some mom or teenage girl, not exactly interested in batch processing techniques.
Just wanting to have some fun.
