  1. There are some bugs in this build that were also present in the previous build, I keep getting messages like this:

    EdgeCleaner called, but wasn't initialized!

    Resize called, but wasn't initialized!

    Letterbox called, but wasn't initialized!

    FFmpegSource2 called, but wasn't initialized!

    ColorMatrix called, but wasn't initialized!

    Crop called, but wasn't initialized!

The odd thing is that I'm not trying to use any of these filters.

DivX265 does not listen to the specified bitrate 7000kbit/s (all the time output is 12mbit/s) ? On a sample > park_joy (mega.co.nz).
I suspect that this is due to the resolution 1920x1088 (preponderance in UHD)
Still can not download / open > DivX HEVC profiles

  3. @sophisticles: Those messages come if the source couldn't be analyzed properly.
-> need a sample to the source to see if I can write a workaround to grab additional infos to fill the missing values
@Graviator: You need to ask the folks over at DivXNetworks. As far as I can see, that's not the fault of Hybrid.

I could not open the link. I had to Right Click > "Save Link As" and open it in Adobe Reader.

I just tried the Hybrid_2014.8.14.1 to test AVI container, but I get an error report.
The Log says: "muxing crashed:One or multiple files were not created properly!"

Job converting AVI: x264 (No change)| Audio mux from source WAV Reencode to MP3 48.0 KHz - 160 kbps CBR Lame
I got a warning like the Log above, but the result is still obtained finishing AVI. Then when I see in %TEMP% folder, the two mix streams: audio (MP3) and video (less extension) are still there.. so weird!

Convert to MP4 do the same job, there is working good without any problem, also same good for Reencode to AAC (Qaac).
So, I think it seems problem to MP3..?

  8. If there is still a problem with the latest version, send me a debug output (see: http://www.selur.de/support) of the problem and I'll look into it some more.

So funny, how can you make a debug report, while for the bitrate alone cannot be set at all..!
    The Bitrate box only contains numbers 1 - 9..?? Supposedly numbers: 96 128 160 192 224 256 etc...

  12. a. I linked before to the support page where you can read how to create a debug output.
    b. since you didn't describe what encoder you are using I can't do anything without a decoder
-> will look at it tomorrow assuming you did provide more info by then

Don't know if this is any help, but I just checked my installation of Hybrid and the AUDIO tab > Bitrate appears to be correct, i.e. 96 -- 128 -- etc.

  14. Same, here, which I why I need a debug output,...

    ---
@Leo99: if you are using fhgaacenc and vbr mode than the number you select isn't a bit rate but a preset.

--vbr <preset> : encode in VBR mode, preset=1..

@gonca: What might I use XP causes the display look so different? I don't know...

@Selur: Nope.. it has nothing to do with fhgaacenc and VBR mode, I think. Or caused of XP that I using..?

Here's the Audio encode to AAC MP3 AC3 OGG, please see this screenshot: http://files.videohelp.com/u/158959/Audio_encode.jpg

You might get an answer faster if you supply Selur with the information he asked for.

  17. I installed the latest version (2014.11.16.1) in a Windows XP virtual machine and couldn't reproduce the problem.
Here the bitrate selection ComboBox is as it should.

Selur, I've downloaded again + reinstalled to the all, but the result is still the same.

Then, test converting AVI includes debugging enabled, as follows:
    1. The ComboBox still problems, it listed numbers of 1-9.
The #1 there are four: 1=112, 1=128, 1=160, 1=192 kbps (I know to the the right box Audio Queue)
    2. I got a report: "muxing crashed:One or multiple files were not created properly!"
    3. When finished, in the %TEMP% folder has 2 files: (but I still got the finishing AVI completely)
      - air on g string_21_07_35_5110_03.264
      - iId_48_aid_0_21_07_35_5110_01.mp3
    4. Attached 2 files of the debug report and log.txt
      - http://files.videohelp.com/u/158959/HybridDebugOutput.txt
      - http://files.videohelp.com/u/158959/Log.txt

  19. Is your Windows XP up-to-date? Still can't reproduce the ComboBox issue you have. (And I now tried 1 VM, 1 Laptop with Windows XP and asked three other users which all confirmed that they do not have any problem with the visualization.)

    About the crash:
I see twhere The problem is and I know how to fix it.

XP support has ended April 8, 2014 ago. But I already have SP3, MS Expression Encoder 4, Visual C++ 2005, 2008(3 kinds), 2010, 2012, 2013. I also have installed the all converters like MP4Box, MPlayer & MEncoder, AviSynth 2.xx, DScaler, LAV DirectShow, MKVToolNix, MeGUI, FFDShow, FFmpeg, x264vfw, QT, SUPER ©, WinAmp, Lame, DivX+Player, XviD, VD/VDM, which all worked well without any trouble at all.

  21. Problem is unless I find a way to reproduce it, I doubt I'll be able to fix it.
From the looks of it the problem is a basic communication problem between Qt and Windows and unless something is really broken the only thing which could cause something like that is some overactive firewall, av software or similar.

@all: Is there anybody else here with Windows XP who also has this problem?

OK, no matter Selur. I still can convert from other converters I have a lot including TVMW5. Anyway, thank you very much!

Thanks in advance, Selur. I'll wait into it.

Frankly, I actually prefer the Hybrid than MeGUI or SUPER ©, it's not complicated, more "flexible" and easier to operate. Moreover, in converting DVD to various containers (vice-versa) is very easy and great results. About MeGUI there's actually good, but I hate the layout menu settings are spread apart to each other. While in SUPER © also good, but I do not like the video softwares info displayed on the Player.
My decision, if the Hybrid situation like this, I am forced to use TVMW5 as a second choice.

Selur, now it returns back to normal. Just simple, I do Reset All to Defaults (Removed my previous settings) - ComboBox is solved!
But there is still problems in AVI, but I still got a complete finishing AVI (despite having 2 files in %TEMP% folder.. bugs?). This for AVI only, other containers are good without bugs.

Also, after Reset all, in the Audio tab on Reencode > if I select AAC followed Qaac checklist box > the ComboBox of bitrate is "blank" > if unchecked will "repopulate" > There are no problems to the 3 others such as Nero AAC, FHG and FAAC.

    Thanks for listening to.

    Create a debug output.

Qaac checklist box > the ComboBox of bitrate is "blank
I can reproduce that. (-> will look into it)

  28. I have now clue why you always post the normal log, when I wrote before that I can't use the normal log at all.
Also you did not you use the version I send you a link to, to create that debug output!
I send you a link to 2014.11.19.1, but you used 2014.11.16.1.
-> the old debug output isn't useful at all,...
