Will think about it.
Remember that scaling content will introduce scaling artifacts, which is why atm. Hybrid only scales the preview if it doesn't it into the screen.

looked into the scaling and found that there is no decent way to zoom when mplayer is used mplayer (which Hybrid does for the normal preview).
I could probably rewrite avsViewer so that zooming would be possible when using the avisynth view, problem is I'm not so sure how useful that zoom would be since the scaling would use nearest neighbor or at best bi-linear resizing, so the zoom might look different than the normal zoom done by a player. -
Ow well if its not possible than leave it.
other suggestions:
Merge Video [Option]
Trim Option.. i know theres cut support but trim option when viewing video -Start Trim -End Trim set option instead cut support wich is 00.00.00 00.08.00 a little difrent you're not seing what parts you are trimming / cutting would be great if added
also check snapshot i would like this too
current time/duration just like media player classic when playing video it shows duration when viewing scripts / if you are! gonna ad trim option so you can see what time you want to trim it and also some audio effects such as Pitch, Speed option for changing audio / video both 'without delaying subs or audio like when you speed video it changes both speed of audio / video but keeping the same audio not delaying it anyways tnx in advance if you can add such things in there that will be cool. -
Both options won't come sine they are simply too messy to combine with all the other options Hybrid has. (A while back I intensively thought about editing and ended up writing 'MKV Cutter'.)
Showing a playback time in avsViewer could be really misleading, since avisynth is only ment for cfr content. If your content is vfr that time would be totally off.
-> AvsPmod, AviUtil or another NLE might be more suited for you if you want to edit contents and more control over the Avisynth part.

Ow well tnx anyways will wait for new version hope to see awarsharp in action,

Doesn't it output some error message, like '"Disabled avisynth support, expected avisynthExtension version .. or higher, found .. ." ?
Folder structure should be "Hybrid\avisynthPlugins" and the avisynthPlugins folder should contain all the filter dlls and the Hybrid folder should contain avsInfo.exe, avisynth.dll, avsViewer.exe and the DevIL.dll.
(this should be the case if you used the installer and only replaced the Hybrid.exe like I suggested,..)
Cu Selur
Ps.: remember that for DVD input 'Avisynth' is disabled by default. If you want to enable it, read the tool tip of 'Config->Internals->Avisynth->Avisynth for DVD input'.Last edited by Selur; 6th Jun 2014 at 03:56. Reason: Avisynth + dvd addition

Sorry, no clue what that sample is for and what the 'Description of assumptions' should tell me,... wrong thread?
-
Sorry, that translation doesn't make any sense, will download the sample reencode it using DivX265 and see if I can spot a problem.

Mencoder/FFmpeg/LibAV can't handle ut 4:2:2 content.
->
1. install ut vfw codec on your system
2. enable: Filtering->Avisynth->Misc->Misc->Prefer AviSource for avi input
3. enable: Config->Internals->Avisynth->Always use Avisynth
alternatively: don't use stuff that is supported by libav
(will adjust Hybrid to automatically try to enforce this, when ut 4:2:2 is detected) -

DivX Converter
Hybrid 2x-frames look better than 1x, and are close to the result of DivX ConverterLast edited by Gravitator; 6th Jun 2014 at 15:57.

a. I have no clue what 'Hybrid 2x-frames' should tell me.
b. DivX Converter uses a newer version of the DivX265 encoder than the version which is available to Hybrid -
a. I try to show that the hybrid incorrectly encodes (puffer frames), or DivX guys gave us a curve encoder. 2x-frames I created to test his:
> theory 1
> theory 2
b. I want to believe that we will soon get this version
с. DivX Converter makes higher quality than x265 on "crowd_run_2160p50.y4m" - I'm impressedLast edited by Gravitator; 10th Jun 2014 at 23:14.

what happens if you call:
Code:"C:\PROGRA~1\Hybrid\mencoder.exe" -lavdopts threads=2 -really-quiet -of rawvideo -o - -ovc raw -demuxer lavf -vfm ffmpeg -noskip -vf scale,format=i420,crop=1920:800:0:140,scale,format=i420 -forcedsubsonly -nosub -nosound -mc 0 "E:\test\PROMET~2.MKV" | C:\PROGRA~1\Hybrid\Kvazaar.exe" -i - --input-res 1920x800 --frames 410 --ref 3 --rdo 2 --sar 1:1 --colormatrix bt709 -o "C:\Users\PARADO~1\AppData\Local\Temp\test-kvaazar_23_48_39_1610_01.265"
*gig*
typo '--rdo' should be '--rd' -
It's a university project, see 'Feature roadmap': http://ultravideo.cs.tut.fi/#encoder
-> B-Frames are planned for the third quarter of this year. -
Great! love the new stuff added thanks and awarsharp looks awesome
keep it up
