Looks like I found the problem, the Hybrid fails when I use the option to automatically generate the output file / destination, when I choose a folder manually works correctly.

There's only a warning: 'couldn't delete C:\Users\DANIEL~1\AppData\Local\Temp\10_19_46_5110 _02_lang_und.ttxt'
but there's no error in your debug output and no problem with the extraction at all,..
-> not sure what I should do with that -
When I try to use the option to automatically generate output file / destination appears popups with the following messages, each piece in a separate popup, one after the other:
Couldn't extract: Golden Time - 6 - Yes No - [HorribleSubs]_id_2_lang_und_default_forced.ass -> extracted subtitle Golden Time - 6 - Yes No - [HorribleSubs]_id_2_lang_und_default_forced.ass
-> adding Golden Time - 6 - Yes No - [HorribleSubs]_id_2_lang_und_default_forced.ass subtitle to queue
couldn't find: Golden Time - 6 - Yes No - [HorribleSubs]_id_2_lang_und_default_forced.ass
Golden Time - 6 - Yes No - [HorribleSubs]_id_2_lang_und_default_forced.ass is empty or couldn't be opened
Extracted current subtitle from current container. -
I did not choose the output folder / destination, it marked the option to "generate" for output file.
-
Yes, but unless a default output folder is set this option, has no clue where to create the output files.
-> if you use the 'generate' option, you should:
a. set a default output folder (Config->Path->Default output path)
or
b. enabled "Config->path->Output path to source path"
or
c. enabled "Config->path->Output path to temp path" -
small update:
- x265: the x265 team fixed the main preset mixup and I adjusted my code to it -> x265 support is ready for a release
- ffmpeg: seems like the ffmpeg devs are looking into the problem (see: https://ffmpeg.org/trac/ffmpeg/ticket/3117), so with a bit of luck future ffmpeg versions might not be broken regarding Blu-ray content extraction
- tsMuxeR on mac: current tsMuxeR developer said he will look into building a Snow Leopard compatible version of the current tsMuxeR this weekend
- x265 on mac: Sadly not much success; building seems to be only working on Mavericks
-> the main show-stopper atm. is the ffmpeg bug -
don't know, don't use ffdshow for anything else then vfw decoding and I do not hope I ever need to handle hevc content through vfw.
Looking at the project source code-page, the last commit wasn't that long ago, so it is probably still developed, but looking at the commits, HEVC isn't mentioned, so atm. ffdshow will probably not support it. -
http://git.videolan.org/?p=ffmpeg.git;a=commit;h=7d0e927a31edb5fb584c2ab17f7fd676838d6639should fix the ffmpeg bug -> will probably release a new Hybrid version tomorrow (or later tonight; waiting for http://www.evermeet.cx/ffmpeg/snapshots/ to update their ffmpeg builds atm.).
Sadly hevc decoding will not work on mac, since I couldn't a manage to build mencoder/mplayer myself or find someone building them for Mac OS 10.6.8+.Last edited by Selur; 18th Nov 2013 at 12:39.

Seems like it doesn't like MP4Box.
Feeding my the downloadlink to VirusTotal:
https://www.virustotal.com/de/url/2b020e1613f321ec4ae801c7b97807d1964e6b17d202b3fb89b3...is/1384868515/
-> seems like BitDefender notes my site as a Malware site ?!? WHAT?
trying to register at their forum to report the false positive -> http://forum.bitdefender.com/index.php?showtopic=50217
VirusTotal, does not report any problem for MP4Box:
https://www.virustotal.com/de/file/8a3db41afd7b1af25055df77551189e3c894f4217e78ceaf150...is/1384869186/
-> I filled out the Avast contact form (real pain since you can't link to the file but you have to upload it), hoping this will resolve the problem. -> WTF, seems like they have a file size limitation or something after a minute or so I just get 'problem loading page'. -> attached just the MP4Box.exe from the installer and send them a link to this thread.

@Selur: downloaded your latest release and installed fine but when i try to launch it i get a pop up box with the following message:
"get tools version got an empty output for mp4box the cause might be that mp4box could not be found please redo this with debug output enabled and tell the author"
the problem is that in order to enable debug output you actually have to be able to launch the program.
any ideas? -
Yes, Selur, surely was just a false positive. I disabled all Avast! protections, downloaded again the 7z file, unpacked and uploaded the "infected" mp4box file to VirusTotal, to verify it (https://www.virustotal.com/en/file/2a042893a7964097c7674e741d206095a33d5d3e1bc062f0e0f...is/1384875220/), without no issues. So, i sent them a report with the "bad" file attached.
When I activated back the protections, Avast! has removed again the file to quarantine. I restored and added it to the exceptions list, so no more headache... -

When will you involve this new development in Hybrid?
