  6. may be something along the lines of:
    Code:
    #assuming you use Avisynth 2.6 MT
    SetMemoryMax(768)
    SetMTMode(5,8)
    LoadPlugin("G:\Hybrid\avisynthPlugins\ffms2.dll") #http://code.google.com/p/ffmpegsource/
    LoadPlugin("G:\Hybrid\avisynthPlugins\mt_masktools-26.dll") #http://manao4.free.fr/mt_masktools_26.dll
    LoadPlugin("G:\Hybrid\avisynthPlugins\DctFilter.dll") # http://avisynth.org/warpenterprises/files/dctfilter_25_dll_20030221.zip
    LoadPlugin("G:\Hybrid\avisynthPlugins\deblock.dll") # http://avisynth.org.ru/mvtools/deblock.html
    LoadPlugin("G:\Hybrid\avisynthPlugins\LoadDll.dll") # http://avisynth.org/tsp/
    LoadPlugin("G:\Hybrid\avisynthPlugins\dfttest.dll") # http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?t=132194
    LoadPlugin("G:\Hybrid\avisynthPlugins\RemoveGrainSSE2.dll") # http://avisynth.org/mediawiki/Removegrain
    LoadDll("G:\Hybrid\avisynthPlugins\libfftw3f-3.dll") # http://avisynth.org/vcmohan/libfftw3f-3.zip
    Import("G:\Hybrid\avisynthPlugins\Deblock_QED.avs") # http://avisynth.org/mediawiki/Deblock_QED
    FFVideoSource("C:\Users\Selur\Desktop\Video.avi",threads=1)
    SetMTMode(2)
    Deblock_QED(quant1=18,quant2=20,aOff1=1,bOff1=1,aOff2=2,bOff2=2,uv=3) # Deblocking
    dfttest(Y=true,U=true,V=true,ftype=0,sigma=18,sigma2=18,swin=0,twin=7) # Denoise does most of the work
    Removegrain(mode=2) # a bit of clean up
    Tweak(hue=0,sat=1.1,bright=-0.01,cont=1.1,coring=true,startHue=0,endHue=360,maxSat=150,minSat=0,interp=16,dither=true) # some slight color change
    distributor()
    return(last)

  7. You should post samples of your source without reencoding. Nobody can tell what problems were introduced by your conversion to Xvid AVI. That files shows improper IVTC to 23.976 fps, poor black levels, and blocky artifacts from too much compression. Grain is the least of your problems.

  8. I agree if there is a source to this other than the avi, a lot of things can probably be done a lot better.

  10. Here's a quick conversion with no noise reduction, just a proper IVTC and levels adjustment.

    Code:
    Mpeg2Source("Video.d2v", CPU=6, Info=3)
    AssumeTFF()
    Crop(0,64,-0,-64)
    TFM(d2v="Video.d2v")
    TDecimate()
    ColorYUV(gain_y=20, off_y=-20)
    Hope you can view h.264 in MKV.

    You can use RemoveGrain or some other denoiser in addition to that.

  11. since I don't like the horizontal lines typical IVTC methods creates I would use this:
    SetMemoryMax(768)
    SetMTMode(5,8)

    LoadPlugin("G:\Hybrid\avisynthPlugins\LoadDll.dll" )
    LoadPlugin("G:\Hybrid\avisynthPlugins\AddGrainC.dl l")
    LoadPlugin("G:\Hybrid\avisynthPlugins\dfttest.dll" )
    LoadPlugin("G:\Hybrid\avisynthPlugins\DirectShowSo urce.dll")

    LoadPlugin("G:\Hybrid\avisynthPlugins\eedi3.dll")
    LoadPlugin("G:\Hybrid\avisynthPlugins\FFT3DFilter. dll")
    LoadPlugin("G:\Hybrid\avisynthPlugins\mt_masktools-26.dll")
