  1. Hi there. I've had a problem that has plagued me for months and months. I am becoming frustrated with it

I am a complete noob when it comes to this stuff so please bare with me.

I want to compress a movie using Adobe Peremere the SAME way that Windows Movie Maker does.

When I render a movie in WMM it is EXTREMELY fast; furthermore, the quality is VERY NICE (for the file size).
However, when I try to achieve the same effect in adobe premere not only does it take hours (when WMM takes seconds) but the quality isn't even as good.

So I decided to conduct a test. I shot a movie with my Canon t3i which produces a .MOV file (I'll post ALL the medi info out put for each movie).

I rendered it in WMM and it took a total of 38 seconds to render. (media info below).

I rendered it in Adobe (attempting to get the exact same settings as WMM. The rendering took so long that I cancelled it (30+ minutes with no sign of finishing any time soon, furthermore the estimation gauge was basically not working, it was going up and not down). TLDR; Windows Movie Maker rendered 100's of times faster than Adobe Premere did despite attempting to have the exact same settings. Media Info is posted below. Graphical settings for adobe premere are here: https://forum.videohelp.com/images/imgfiles/h2syH
