    Good work, but IMHO you should start the cleaning process in Avisynth, not VirtualDub. Get into VirtualDub later. Some problems are best handled with Avisynth. Give us some info about your capture format. Is it AVI? It's a good idea to post a short sample of the original, unprocessed capture. That would allow members here to give more specific help.

    Sorry for the late reply guys bit busy with the work, here is the screenshot of the final record and a sample clip...

    edit: one main thing is the colour... its totally changed to RED....

    If you want to work with damaged tape, why inflict more damage by recording to very lossy Xvid?
