First off, sorry if this is (quite possibly) a duplicate. I have no idea what to search for so I can't tell what other threads might be related to what I want.
I want to setup a system whereby I can stream my mp4 movies across my home network to whatever device supports mp4 streaming, like my wp7 for example. I'm prepared to setup either Apache or IIS if needed, but I have no idea what to look up to accomplish this.
I've found "mp4 streaming server 1.0" but I have no desire to install the DVD software it tells me to.
So is there a way I can sorta make my own simple youtube just for my home? Thanks.

Does WP7 support DLNA? Many devices from TVs to bluray players to games consoles do.
It's relatively easy to set up on a Windows machine. -
There's an app from Samsung called "AllShare" that sounds like it may do the job, but the phone itself is not DLNA compliant. I'd have to test it out.
Edit: Nevermind... Apparantly my Samsung phone is not compatible with a Samsung application. How cute.
