This I find hard to believe:

I do use my xbox 360 for online videos and stuff of course. But second behind Itunes??? I would have thought Amazon would have a larger penetration.

The odd thing I noticed the other day was that even though my xbox 360 and ps3 are both hard wired (not wireless) the ps3 actually streamed better. I rented the newest Muppet movie and it buffered something horribly over vudu hd on the xbox 360. It kept pausing every 30 seconds or so. I finally gave up and tried it on my ps3. No stuttering or buffering!

I think I've rented a few on Zune and they didn't have problems. Of course I have downloaded titles on Zune on the 360 so those wouldn't have buffering issues.

I just downloaded the xfinity app on the 360 as I have comcast (and xbox live gold) but wouldn't you know it the servers were busy. I tried twice a half hour apart and they were still down. Opening day blues I guess. I'll be interested in its functionality.

I would love for the xbox 360 to become a second dvr. But I am guessing they'll hold off on that feature until the next console Microsoft comes up with. I'm sure it'll have some kind of mondo drm protocol and probably retinal scans and fingerprinting to keep you from copying the movies. But if it works well and you could have a super sized harddrive on it that would be promising.
