mkv 7.1 audio

i have a mkv file with 7.1 audio...i usually play with VLC but it plays only in 5.1....Since they say core is 5.1.....when i check again with media info it says 8 channels/6 channels DTS MA... power dvd 12 gives 7.1 output but not playing smoothly .....so which is the best player to play smoothly with 7.1 audio?????

Thank u for ur suggestions......i already tried MPCHC..In that i can't get 7.1 audio not even 5.1 output..though i select my speakers in audio rendere... in potplayer i get only 5.1 output.....i checked playing file info in that it shows 6->8 channels but i didn't get sound from side speakers only at i get sound from FLR RLR C ...In powerdvd 12 only i get 7.1 output ,is there any need of change settings in video in powerdvd 12 to get smooth play????

DTS-HD Master Audio can be handled by LAV Audio, as long as you have a copy of ArcSoft's Dtsdecoderdll.dll in its install directory. Besides, MPC-HC should be used with an external MKV demuxer (LAV Splitter, AV Splitter, or Haali's --- take your pick).

No sound coming from lav audio decoder after i included it in external filter....... in MPC-HC

Finally i'm success with mpc-hc with lav splitter, lav video decoder , ffdshow audio decoder ,Arcsoft Audio decoder HD...also with some changes in Mpc-hc.exe with HEX editor........
