  1. Anyone knows how I can CONVERT captured MPEG2 to AVI?
I capture analog sources with my Dazzle DVC II, but I need to convert it to AVI (DV.AVI. WMV)

  3. Thanx.

I`ve tried DVD2AVI, but I`m not shure I know how to use it.
When I open a file I have to choose "ALL files" cause my MPEG file has MPEG extension not, m2p or m2v, but I think it should still work.

X-MPEG I thought is only a MPEG1 creater from stills?

I`ve read the readme file for DVD2AVI but I don`t understand it. I choose SAVE AVI but the file it creates is empty.

    And what is VFAPI?

    Any help appreciated!

    Thanx.

  4. ok..this is how you'll use DVD2AVI...open the program...open your MPEG into the program...and then select SAVE PROJECT...NOT SAVE AVI....this will create a .D2V file on your harddrive...programs like VirtualDub will read this D2V file as an AVI so you can load the D2V into VirtualDub and then select the appropriate settings and save as a DIVX AVI or whatever other AVI you are going for...
