  1. I got this strange problem since yesterday.
Let me state when it started to happen. I was playing WoW (World of warcraft) yesterday and i plugged in my headset and i got a BSoD immediately so i restarted my pc. After restart my mouse pointer would'nt move at all, i changed the port, restarted and after numerous plug ins and out it finally started working. The mouse in question was a Razer Deathadder that i have been using for a bit over 2 years and it never had any simillar problems before.

Ok so i did whatever i was doing yesterday and then shutdown my pc normally. Started my pc today and the mouse was working fine for say an hour or so and for no reason it stopped working again at all today. I changed ports, restarted my pc many times but it would just not work so i assumed that my mouse has died which is strange. So i went out and got a new mouse, Razer Lachesis 5600 DPI. Plugged in and it worked fine for say couple of hours, i was playing Team Fortress 2 with my friends and guess what? my mouse stopped working again (new mouse) and i changed the port and it started to work again. Now i think i just wasted $80 bucks for getting a new mouse since apparently it was'nt a mouse problem. Can anyone suggest whats wrong? Can it be related to that BSoD that happened yesterday?

I feel jarateed off rightnow wasting my money to get a new mouse without testing my old mouse on some friends pc

usb ports dying? you might pick up an add-in usb card just to keep the mouse working all the time.

Sounds like there's a driver/system conflict when you plugged in the headphones,do a system restore before the time you plugged in the headphones.
    I think,therefore i am a hamster.
