  1. The new release of XMedia Recode (v3.0.8.4) has a major bug: it does not support audio. I've never experienced problems with the updates before, but the last one will not recode any type of audio or video file with sound. Since the developer is inaccessible, and I really like the program, I'd like to get a copy of a previous version. But maybe someone can recommend another video recoder (not SUPER, please: it contains the "Open Candy" spyware). Thanks.

  2. Xvid4psp does everything perfectly. Use build 5.10.221.0.
The new build is incomplete. The author is working on an upgrade.

  3. The developer must have picked up the bug as he just released another update. Version 3.0.8.5 supports audio. I will try Xvid4psp, since I have not been able to get XMediaREcode to convert WMV files, and it crashes if you don't exit and launch the app when selecting a new project. But I still think XMediaRecode is excellent. Thanks to you both for the kind response.
