  1. Is there a plug in for virtual dub that will let me decompress the vorbis audio track of a video?

    I get the 566f message on the error

    i have looked here http://forums.virtualdub.org/index.php?act=ST&f=7&t=19488
    but the 566f one is missing

    You'd better start by converting the Vorbis track to something usable by VirtualDub, which depends on the ACM interface.

    There exists a Vorbis ACM codec, BUT it was designed so wrongly, that it becomes pretty useless in most cases.

  3. I've used mkvtoolnix to extract the streams, then used xmedia recode to convert to aac and put it all back together with mkvtoolnix again. bit longwinded but seems to work
