Is there a plug in for virtual dub that will let me decompress the vorbis audio track of a video?
I get the 566f message on the error
i have looked here http://forums.virtualdub.org/index.php?act=ST&f=7&t=19488
but the 566f one is missing

You'd better start by converting the Vorbis track to something usable by VirtualDub, which depends on the ACM interface.
There exists a Vorbis ACM codec, BUT it was designed so wrongly, that it becomes pretty useless in most cases. -
I've used mkvtoolnix to extract the streams, then used xmedia recode to convert to aac and put it all back together with mkvtoolnix again. bit longwinded but seems to work
