    has any one come across lionsgate movies are not recognised in the drive ie machine gun preacher and trespass

    No. Having said that, it may well be because of the new Java protection they have started using on these discs.
    Probably a daft question but is your Java up to date?

    It's probably new copy-protection, go to the software player website to see if there's an update. If not then use AnyDVD.

    i have used anydvd hd all the time with no problem but it does not scan these two lionsgate bluray movies they are not even recognised in the drive either so i think this may be a new type of stealth protection
