  1. hey,

i forgot the name of an awesome converter..

it's freeware and not comercial (independent user (?) project).. hard to find. i believe the name contains the letters PSP, dont remeber it exactly.. but it's not a normal name just some letters.

the converter is mainly used or developed to convert files (for example MKV) into a working PSP or Playstation format, but it can handle almost every codec/format and converts to almost every format, a good allrounder. i remember a donation window which appears on startup or maybe every time before a new encode.. in the donation window there is a lovely drawn pic of a Bear who is looking at it's old purse, or just trys to open it.. this window stays for 10 seconds.

i remember also the user interface. it's mostly black but kinda transaprent, for example like the windows aero task bar.
i believe the buttons were purple or indigo in color.

can't remember the name of this outstanding converter..
searched the web for hours, but couldn't find it.

hope someone can help me out =)

    XviD4PSP comes to mind.

You could just go to the Tools/Software and Downloads And typed in PSP and it would have brought up all the tools with PSP in the title.

I concur with XviD4PSP. If you go to the developer's web site, you'll find the bear in the upper left hand corner. The bear has always been a staple of Winnydow's web site and programs.

  6. hey guys,

    many thanks =)

Xvid4PSP is correct, im happy now.

one of the best converters imho. i convert mainly mp4 or mkv to m2v, ts or lararith lossless for AFX or APP.

is there a similar converter or a even better one out there?
