    Cyberlink Powerdirector makes movie in 8 hours !
    Is this normal ?
    What am I doing wrong?

    Raw material :AVCHD footage 1 hour long

    It reconverts the video and HD conversion takes a lot of time on slower cpus.

    Maybe try another avchd/blu-ray creator. You could try the free avchdcoder or bdtoavchd if you don't need any editing.

    I have downloaded an AMD codec.Now it says 3 hours.Well better than nothing
    I need editing but no blueray DVD...watch the movie with SAT receiver
