    Monitor LG Flatron L194wt displays only white bright screen, as soon as I power it up. Regardless if it is connected to PC or not.
    Any hint, please?
    (I've found the service manual, but this is not covered in it. I have skill and tools to replace/re-solder electronic components.)

    take it apart and check all the capacitors for bulging or leaking.

    A rare failure. Most fail with backlight florescent tubes which can be the tubes themselves or the DC inverter.

    Yes, quite rare. I've never seen it before. I've been researching the web in English, Russian and Croatian language pages. It seems that notorious capacitors could be the reason, as aedipuss suggested, and maybe loose cables and some fuse, as well.
    I've never opened up any LCD monitor, but this one is out of warranty, so I will try my best.

    I still have two...Sony, ViewSonic that failed by inverter.

    The others are RIP in the landfill.
