Ok so I did the second way, and I hit the stop watch on both layers that I made when I wanted to start. He just opens his eyes and they are green, I don't need it to be over time, just instantly. I am including a pic of what I am seeing on my AE so maybe you can tell me what I am doing wrong. If I render it as of now it will have the green mask dots I made through the whole thing.

  2. If it's just instantly, then your mask path and roto work has to match where the "eyeballs" are revealed - I'm assuming this has been done properly

If so, then just cut the top layer to the area before the eyelids open. Move the playhead to that frame and push "alt [ "

Or keyframe the opacity so it starts at zero (so the top "Green" layer isn't revealed), set a keyframe right before to zero, and on the opening frame set it to 100%

See where my line cursor is on the time line it's not on my key frame I made which is a little further down, so why are the green mask dots still there?

The masks exist as long as the layer exists (and the mask settting isn't set to "none")

So the solution is to either trim the top layer, or change the opacity as described in the previous post

The 3rd approach would be to move the masks completely off (keyframe them so they are complete out of the frame, and reappear on the 1st frame where the eyes open)

(if you trim the top layer on the few beginning frames, then only the bottom layer will show though; and if you change the opacity of the top layer to zero, then also only bottom layer will show through)

e.g. with the top layer selected , move the playhead to "09f" and hit "alt [" => this is probably the easiest method

  5. iSkySoft video converter supports MTS files at 60fps and can convert to 60fps but you gotta do a little trick.
Program is so good, i bought it and have 0 regrets.

You have to edit Format.dat file with text editor and do 'Find and Replace"
    Find
    12 fps;15 fps;20 fps;23.97 fps;24 fps;25 fps;29.97 fps;30 fps
    Replace with
    12 fps;15 fps;20 fps;23.97 fps;24 fps;25 fps;29.97 fps;30 fps;60 fps
    Save and start tjhe program.

Every codec will have 60fps output available from framerate dropdown in codec settings dialog.
