ok i have run a search on this and am still lost on the solution to my problem. ok i use tmpgenc to encode the mpg's and avi i d'l off kaazza and use nero to create the vcd and i run into this problem only with certain videos.
i dl music videos (or stuff under 10 min) and have no problems making vcds from them. but now when i d/l stuff like neon genisis evangelion vids that are like 50 min or movie files they run perfectly on my comp, all audio and video line up. now once i make the vcd and try to watch it on my dvd player either:
1) the audio is just a hair off
2)the audio starts out fine then weans off
3)audio starts just a hair off thengoes good at the end
am i doing something wrong? is there some way to tell how the video is off if it's working on my comp no problems?
i am new to this so bear with me:P if anyone can point me in the right direction or walk me thru it i'd appreciate it. thanx.
also with tmpgenc i am using ntsc 352x240, 4:3 ntsc, 29.97fps, cbr, and 1150 just like tutorial i had found told me. also have tried letting nero encode it and same thing:(

Take VirtualDub and make an uncompressed .wav from the AVI. Then set your video source normally in TMPGenc, and set the audio source as the .wav.
This solved my sync problems. -
thanx for the advice i just got done reencoding it and it works great thanx for the help:)
