I'm trying to find a way to create a full HD 3D bluray, by using Sony Vegas 11 + DVD Architect Pro 5.2 in combination with a Sony HDR-TD10 3D camera.
After a week of puzzling, wondering why Vegas wouldn't work, I found my LG GGW-H20L bluray burner to be incompatible with Sony Vegas, so I have to disable my burner, reboot and then start Vegas. A little awkward, but at least that problem is solved.
Here's my unsolved problem:
So far, I managed to create a working 3D bluray disc by starting an HD 1080-50i project with side-by-side (full) 3D setting and then creating a 1080-24p .ISO image, which I can burn with any burning software (after enabling my burner again). This is however, movie only. No menu structure, since I don't think Sony Vegas can do that.
Of course, I'd like to add menu's, chapters and everything else and in order to do so, I figured I should use DVD Architect.
I can export a 3D video from Vegas to an .MFX file and import that into DVD Architect, create an .ISO and burn it. But, whichever setting I try, I always end up with a bluray that gives me two 2D images, side by side on my 3D screen.
My hardware doesn't seem to be an issue, cause I can create a proper working disc (well, .ISO) in Vegas.
Who knows a way to obtain a real full HD (1920x1080), side-by-side (full) 3D bluray with menu and chapters, by using Vegas (and DVD Architect)?
Thanks for your help!
