  1. Possible to play 1080/60 mts files on TVS with USB thumb drive??

All of the new generation HD TV's have usb and SD card inputs enabling the direct viewing of files from a USB thumb drive or SD card.

Has anyone tried to successfully view 1080p or 1080i mts files on the new generation of large screen HD TV's with such ports???

    Thanks for your help!

What the consumer foolishly believes - "My TV will play EVERY possible file I throw at it".

The reality of the situation - "My TV won't play DTS or AAC audio and even the video files it will play have restrictions".

It's really unlikely that any of the current TVs will play such files. Most of the posts we get when people try to use TVs are file playing devices are complaints about what they won't play.

jman98 This has been my experience as well. The playback compatibility is not good on many sets. Hopefully that will change as more people start using these features.
