Hello, thinking of getting a new video card and speaker so I have a few questions. I'm not using this monitor as a TV but as a PC monitor. Would I be better using the DVI-D or the HDMI to connect to a video card with both HDMI and DVI-I available? If DVI-D is the better choice, I would just need a DVI-D cable (link above) to connect the DVI-D port on the monitor to the DVI-I port on the video card right?

If I get the 2.1 speakers I would just plugged the green cable into the sound card and leave the HDMI/PC/DVI-D AUDIO IN and DIGITAL AUDIO OUT(OPTICAL) port on the monitor alone?
