I am looking for a good web hosting service. I have looked at JustHost but the actual user reviews were bad.

InMotion Hosting - The reviews are pretty good
WebHostingHub - The revews are good

In customer satisfaction they are the top 2.

Let me know your thoughts. The site I want to host is only going to be used for Photography, so it needs to have albums and plenty of picture space. Simple if the hoster can manage!

I agree. These spammers need to be banned.

I've been using dreamhost for a few years now, they're pretty reasonable and I've had no major hiccoughs but I'm a pretty technically savvy guy and can fix most problems myself.

If you want to host a gallery you're going to need some software to do that.

You could just use an premium image hosting service (imageshack?), since that'll be more specifically suited to your needs.

I was looking through bbb.org and looking at the reviews and complaints. Some of these hosting websites are red flagged lol

I've been here about 9 years now.

Though most VH members know digitalFAQ.com for its video guides/etc (most of which I've written), it also has a lot of information about other digital media topics: photo and publishing, the latter of which includes the topic of web design and web hosting.

    See this page: http://www.digitalFAQ.com/forum/web-tech/2866-list-best-web.html

Most of the blogs/sites made simply to showcase so-called "best hosts" are crap, as they're influenced by affiliate and ad pay. So that's why you'll see all the BS spammers pushing big-name (and also super-awful) hosts -- including InMotion and Webhostinghub.

This forum includes the following "non-video" sections:

Audio, Media, Programming, Computer, Feedback, Test, Polls, and Off-Topic.

If you don't like this fact, just complain to the site Admin.

OR stop visiting VideoHelp, problem solved.
