I need to clean up the sound in one of my files so I loaded the file in VirtualDub 1.4.9 and follow the instructions on this site. However once I save it as a .wav I get about 25.mb's and it stops and says "sync error". I have no idea what's wrong. Can anyone help me? Thanks.

VincentVegaFFF,
If you simply wanna extract the sound from a MPEG1 file, you can use TMPGEnc for that. Just look under MPEG Tools from the drop-down menu.
