  1. Hello,
I've lost 2 bluray discs trying to figure this out and its driving me mad.
I am relatively new at bluray burning and don't understand alot but..I had success converting mkv files and using tsMuxerR with my first to discs and after that I have been getting nothing but the same error. "Unsupported media type 15 for AVCHD/Blu-ray muxing"
So, I tried multiAVCHD and although it takes 6 hrs building a fancy menu and is nice, I have yet to be able to get audio from the actual movie. The menu has audio but movie does not.
If I could choose..I would rather use tsMuxeR because its fast with no bells and whistles but...I am at a loss with that one.
It would be nice if I could preview my movie before burning it but not sure how.
I do know for a fact that the movie plays fine on my computer, just can't get it to burn with audio.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

What is the audio in your source file? Identify using Mediainfo.

YOu can also try bdtoavchd and avchdcoder.

And mkv to blu-ray is not any blu-ray ripping. Moving you to our conversion section.

    First audio stream says
    48.0 khz/24.0 khz, 6channels, aac (he-aac/lc)

    Look here:

You have AAC audio. It's not valid for BluRay or AVCHD. This is why you are getting the error message from tsmuxer. As far as multiAVCHD goes, my personal opinion is that the documentation is abysmal and the author has abandoned the program so if it doesn't work for you, you simply may be out of luck here.

  5. Is there any way to convert the AAC audio?
I am going to invest in a bluraywr disc and experiment for now on, sick of wasting br discs.

Try AVCHDCOder, it will convert the aac to ac3 and make a blu-ray/avchd for you.

For now, give up on multiAVCHD. For a minority of BluRay players it produces output that they cannot ever play. Yes, by all means get a BD-RE disc but try some other tool to convert your AAC files. Once you get simple BD output that your player can play then try again with multiAVCHD if you wish.

  10. Thinking I will have to treat this like i did when I first got a dvd writer..
multiAVCHD wasnt bad, I liked the menus and seem to give me lots of control but its all foreign to me. I need to find something that is dummy proof for mkv's everything seems to complicated for me.
