  1. Hi,
Can any one help me how to convert video files to frames(motion not still) using adobe premier?
I need the converted files to load onto my camera settings in Houdini to use as a back ground of my 3 D obj.
I eventually need to render it and out put to various format to play it with high res.
I'd appreciate it if any one can show me step by step using example video or files.
Please use the attached mp4 file if you can. Thanks

  2. how to convert video files to frames(motion not still)
Clarify what do you mean "motion not still" ?

Individual Frames are still - they represent a moment in time . Did you mean an image sequence ? like png or tiff ?

  4. I still don't understand your question ?

    what format ?

    use adobe media encoder

if you want a sequence of still images (frames), checkmark the image sequence box

if you want a video, then select a video format

  8. It doesnt say it supports mov (and there are 100's of different kinds of mov)

Most vfx programs use tiff, dpx, or exr (and sometimes tga)

  11. 1) add file to adobe media encoder queue

    2) select format "tiff"

    3) click on the hot text for the preset to adjust the settings - select "export as sequence" checkmark box, configure your file paths (directory to save it)

    4) push start queue
