VLC Blu-ray plugin - Watch encrypted Blu-rays directly in VLC 2.0+

If you are running 64 Bit OS try the 32 bit dll seems that the 64 bit doesn't recognize in VLC on 64 bit OS but 32 bit dll will work, i have just successfully ran my first encrypted blu-ray in vlc.

Does anyone know how this can be applied to the portable version of VLC, will it even work, where do the two files need to be placed?

Well the 32 bit

libaacs.dll

goes to

X:\portableapps\VLCPortable\App\vlc

where

X:\

is your portable drive and

X:\portableapps\VLCPortable\

is where vlc is installed and the keyfile goes to

C:\Users\YourUserName\AppData\Roaming\aacs\

where Users is the users directory and YourUserName... - well you know the rest.

Edit: As you can propably guess, this procedure won't be portable, since the users home directory is used, (must be repeated on every computer).

Wow, almost a year later, didn't expect a response, but hey good to know someone figured it out. I'll give it a try when I have time
