    I am not able to download streaming movies from youtube. I've tried Download Helper, IDM, keepvid, getflv etc and none of them seem to work. This is the channel from which I am trying to D/L.

    Any help would be much appreciated.

    They download fine here, IDM, jdownloader

    Maybe you need to update your programs

    Kingwing123, Youtube uses RTMPE Protocol with Handshake 10 for streaming movies!! The only program that can record them is GetFLV Pro/Gold version!! Still there is no free software for that!!

    Thanks. I tried the GetFLV version 9.0.8.1 and it seems to be working.

    EDIT: but it stops at 1.7%

    It used to be just sitting in your temp folder after playing and you renamed the type to .flv
    Sure it still isn't?

    Menubar>Tools>Internet Options>Browsing History/Settings>View Files>Sort by size>copy to desktop/rename to .flv

    Trial version only downloads 10MB of it!! if you are using original pro version(not cracked), it must work!! try resume option!!

    As I said before, only GetFLV supports Handshake 10!! rtmpdump still doesn't support Handshake 10!
