MaestroSBT simply can't recognize Korean characters (Or, I can't)

I'm not sure exactly where I'm going wrong, but for some reason I just can't get MaestroSBT to recognize the Korean characters in my subtitle file. I've made some changes in Aegisub and saved it as an .ass (or .ssa) file. Then I try to open it in MaestroSBT. I change all the options I need to, but when I hit Edit & Preview, none of the Characters show up. There are a few English words, and they show just fine. Also, all the periods, commas, semi-colons, etc show up correctly, in the correct spot, on the Korean lines. But the Characters themselves just won't show.

What have I missed?

Make sure you save your SSA or ASS files in UTF-16.

Also, set MaestroSBT to use the "codepage" 65001.

I ended up having to select "Script font code page:" as "force Korean (Hangul)" That seems to have worked.

Funny thing is, when I try to "Open UTF-8 file" It still fails. I have to just open it as a regular file.
