    What is macrovision? and what is the benefit of including it in the DVD player?


    Is it possible to connect the Apex AD-1500 player to the computer by IDE or SCSI? or other type of player?

    Macrovision is a copy protection system. the advantage of including it is to stop ppl from copying. It's rather useless though because, there are several ways to get around it.

    as to your other question about the dvd player: not without voiding the warranty. Alot of settop players are actually dvd-roms inside. Your better off buying a dvd-rom
